If you have sprinklers installed, it isn’t just a one and done type of deal. Sprinklers need to be maintained to make sure that they keep working correctly and we would love to be the company to help you with that. There are several, different parts of a sprinkler system that could malfunction or break down, causing wider issues. If you experiencing low water pressure or your sprinklers not activating as they should, let us come and check. It could be something as simple as cleaning out sprinkler heads or something more complicated, like a control box that needs to be replaced.
Control Box Check
One of the sprinkler services that we offer is checking your control box. Your control box is the brain of your sprinkler system. When the control box works correctly, it tells your sprinkler heads when to activate and pop up and notifies your water system to start pushing out water. If the control box isn’t working as it should, these things will most likely not happen. This can lead to not enough water flowing or an excess of watering. Let us come and check your control box and attempt to fix the issue.
Water Pressure Check
If you notice that your sprinklers are activating when they are supposed to, but it doesn’t seem like the right amount of water is coming out, let us come and take a look. There could be a problem at the water source; perhaps the water got shut off. It may also be that there is a problem or leak in the water lines that are running from your source and to your sprinkler heads. If we find a leak, we can dig up the individual piece and patch it so that water pressure is stabilized.
Sprinkler Head Cleaning
If you notice that your sprinkler heads are activating, but water seems to be coming out sporadically or not at all, the problem could also be that you need to have your sprinkler heads cleaned. If you have automatic sprinkler heads, that pop up and out of the ground, it is very possible that, while they were in the ground, the got clogged with dirt or debris. If this is the case, we can come in with specialized brushes and make sure that your sprinkler heads are clear and not defective or broken.
Aiming of Sprinklers
Another problem that could arise, that we will always check for when we come out to manage your sprinkler system, is the aim of your sprinkler heads. We are always trying to make sure that the spray from a sprinkler head is hitting the sprinkler next it. This makes sure that there is not a dry spot in the yard. Likewise, we are also trying to make sure that water isn’t being sprayed on to places that don’t need water, such as decks, patios and walkways. This will help to keep your water bill low and also helps the environment by not overwatering.
